About the Beach

What is Praia dos Frades Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Peniche.

Praia dos Frades Beach presents a very extensive strip of sand, located in the sea front of village.
In the central area exists a rocky formation at seaside, a harbinger to the immersed rocks awaiting the bathers.
The accesses to the sand are done by trails on opposite sides of the cliff. On top of the north cliff there's a support car parking shared with the neighbor beach.
