About the Beach

What is Praia da Laginha Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia da Laginha Beach presents a sand with medium extension, surrounded by rugged cliffs. The bathing area is found full of rocks where the biggest ones lie in the middle area.
On the south cliff there are several pedestrian trails amidst the undergrowth which require the skills of an experienced trekker. It is advised to access the sandy area by sea, but for those willing to enjoy the landscape from the cliff top, the way following northeast from the locality of Cavaleiro is the route to embrace.
