About the Beach

What is Praia do Tonel Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia do Tonel Beach, also known as Praia do Pendoradoiro Beach, has an average sized sand that gets almost all its length immersed, during the high tide's peak.
It's very difficult to descend the cliff of this beautiful cove until the bathing area. The access to its top can be done by Estrada Nacional 5021, turning west at Daroeira village and heading to Herdade do Touril. From here, follow the dirt road to west.
