About the Beach

What is Praia dos Alteirinhos Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia dos Alteirinhos Beach is located immediately south of village. Its sand is long and sheltered by a cove.
At south, the beach is bounded by Ponta do Lajão, a rock tip appreciated by anglers.
The access is via a steep stairway on the cliff that displays a beautiful waterfall, a few meters away while descending to the beach.
This is a Naturist Official Beach.
