About the Beach

What is Praia da Baiona Beach?

It's an Oceanic Beach in the northern hemisphere bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, located on the coast of Portugal - Iberian Peninsula - in the municipality of Odemira.

Praia da Baiona Beach, also known as Praia da Foz do Rio Beach, displays a narrow and long section of sand intersected by rocks and dispersed stones. The north cliff is very high.
The beach belongs by the north side to the 1 mouth which surrounds the wide sand of Praia de Odeceixe (Mar) Beach.
This is the coastal site where and regions meet.
Access is done through Baiona village where one has to turn right just before the bridge.
